The Most Important Thing In My Life....

is God.

Honestly, I think that's what I learned most from my time up in Juneau. Holding on to Him and the gospel He has set up for us on this earth got me through some really hard times and helped me make some really tough decisions.

I know that He watches out for me, and each one of us. I also know that He has His hand in my life and everyone elses; it's there if you look for it. He's guided me in each major decision I've made.

He has been my strength and my joy. I know that through Him, and only through Him, can I find true and everlasting happiness.

That is why my greatest desire has become to know God and see His face; in this life or the next.

More Haircuts!!

My friend Jeremy stated one day that he needed a haircut, but he didn’t want to pay for it. I quickly volunteered my services. To my surprise, he agreed to let me cut his hair. Honestly, I was a bit shocked, because I’ve never cut anyone’s hair in my life and was kinda kidding when I volunteered. The next day came around and the haircut did indeed happen.

Muahahaha! He was nervous! … I would have been too if I let me cut my hair.

This is me wondering how to work the buzzers, and Jeremy contemplating the meaning of life.

Here we go! Can’t turn back now!

Touchin up the rough spots

Working into the evening to perfect my first haircut.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of the final product, but Jeremy did say I did a good job. The only thing I didn’t do was the sideburns, nope, didn’t want to mess those up at all. Haha, I would like to thank my mother for letting me watch her cut my brother’s hair when I was young. Bet you didn’t think I’d pick that up did you? Haha but Jeremy did compliment my handy work. I told him not to lie to me, and he promised he wasn’t. So I guess I did a good job. Maybe I’ll become a hairstylist….nope, not my thing. Maybe I’ll just cut my kids’ hair when that time comes.

Walking To Da Church

So I usually bike about 6 miles to the church for institute, but one day I decided I wanted to walk and take pictures. So I did.

Totem pole by one of the state buildings.

It’s the white picket fence!!

I’m not really sure what this is, but it looks like a giant water slide to me! Definitely on my list of things to do!

These flowers are everywhere. And they are so pretty!

I like to call this one “Stairs to Somewhere.” Haha interpret that one yourself.

I just loved all the levels of color in this person’s front yard.

I love big trees!
