So apparently every year Spanish Fork's Hindi group has an annual party at their temple and they invite the public. You go and look through their temple and sit out on the hill and watch people perform.

Then you buy colored chalk and when theylight the fire and burn the witch you throw the chalk at each other and have a blast! ...Naturally, we would go! The party started at 4:00, but we left just before then and by the

time we got there parking was horrendous and traffic was slow. So, out of complete boredom, I started taking pictures. Of driving! WAHOO!! West drove us, and this is Katie in the passenger seat. We all danced along to "My Life Would Suck Without You" at least 5 times during the drive.
And Erin was so darn tired, and "the sun felt so good" that she fell asleep. But I like to say that the Sandman came out of nowhere, about to attack me with his mighty stick of sand, but I smacked him
with the

backside of my hand and he tumbled over me and on to Erin's lap. Meanwhile forgetting he still had his Sand Stick in his hand and got up to ask me why I did that and smacked Erin in the forehead, so she went out like a light :)
Who knew there was a Hindi Temple in Spanish Fork, UT??

NOT ME!! It was pretty though, but super packed. We even left before the rest of the people

threw the chalk because we decided we didn't want to be inhaling chalk as we messed around.

Oh the beginnings of the fight. We all stuffed our hands into our

individual bags and slapped handfuls of chalk onto each other's faces and bodies! So much fun! (Note: obviously there are no pictures of the actual fight because I was in it and did not want to ruin my camera).
The after effects of the chalk war. All the colors, faces, and enjoyment! I'm pretty sure the shirt, and the cami underneath, are permanently dyed a

sort

of purplish/pinkish color...
