Sign Off

For those of you who follow me, you've heard of all my grand adventures. I have enjoyed my time as a student, a hostess, a sales rep, a restaurant worker, a triathete, a blogger, a single lady, and a friend. My time in South Korea, Alaska, and Utah will always be remembered. Thank you for listening to my rambling and random thoughts! I'm off on a load of new adventures now. If you would like to follow them, you can find us here.

Signing off for good,

What a Good Idea

So...I started listening to some conference talks while working on a project at work. I don't have a favorite (obviously), but I like this one a lot. Thank you to the wonderful leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who so thoughtfully and prayerfully considered the topics they would speak on this last May.

Oh, and I also went into work today, and saw a new sticky note a co-worker had put on her wall. Just what I needed. It says,

"Peace comes by fitting into God's plan.
Stress
comes by trying to fit God into your plans"

Thank you, my wonderful co-worker, for your thoughts and drive to be better... it helps me too :)

Say Cheese!

Oh what a beautiful life! Honestly, I got what matters and the rest doesn't matter.

My sister-in-law (to be) is getting married in 10 days. Wow, almost in the single digits now - so crazy! I cannot tell you how excited I am for Jenni and Casey to get married! Those two are so cute!

...16 days!! Ekkk! :D

Help Comes

It's amazing what happens with a lot of prayer, and some serious searching for help and answers.

You end up finding help and answers.

It's amazing what happened after I started reading some of the articles and books suggested by my bishop when Matt and I first got engaged - that focuses entirely on the spiritual side of relationships, as well as the temple.

And also the support and prayers of my love, and my fiance, Matt.

So Wonderful :) Thank you, thank you God. For helping me, giving me some answers, and helping me to find my fabulous fiance!

Hello World

It's been a while... oops! I haven't forgotten about you, I've just been busy looking for one of these (among other wedding items):

And these:

That doesn't cost a lot of this:While also coaching a wonderful team:

And trying to work out rescheduling of games that were supposed to happen last week.

I'm also trying to remember to study these:

And remember to eat this (which hasn't been this hard before):

And not this that happens to stare me in the face all day at work:

While giving myself time for this:

And this:
Hmmm... More frequently than ever before, I find myself feeling like this:

And sometimes I wonder if I've lost this:

Don't get me wrong. I love my fiance, so very very very very much, and I am so excited to spend the rest of forever with him. ...The being engaged part isn't so great though. I guess it just makes the success at the end that much sweeter right? *Sigh* It'll be alright in the end; if if it's not right, it's not yet the end.

This has become one of my favorite songs (although it doesn't entirely apply yet...you'll understand when you hear it).
